Did not like this place. Was a weird atmosphere. Owner said he closes the gate at 11pm but his number is on the front gate to call. 11:30pm I try to get in and the number doesn’t work. I wrote the number normal and with the 2 dial numbers at the start…nothing worked. He isnt on WhatsApp so if u didn’t have a local sim. Was banging on gate. Was still left. Useless. Lucky I had a friend staying with me who was inside so they opened the gate otherwise would have been stuck outside all night.

Honestly, I don’t understand why this hostel has so many bad reviews. I stayed one night and had a great experience. The bed was comfortable (I slept almost 13 hours!), the AC worked all the time, and the room was fresh. The owner is a kind person, always trying to help and make guests comfortable. The location is excellent: close to the center but away from the noise. The only improvement would be adding toilet paper in the bathrooms.
