SOM by The Venue Hostel

decent place to stay but this is Not a social hostel. the place was very warm so it was uncomfortable to sleep and there were no opportunities to meet people. location was nice but i was never excited to return back for the night.

The staff were fantastic, very friendly and helpful and really went above and beyond during my stay. The facilities are a little tired in the rooms & bathrooms, the lock in the bathroom didn’t work and there was a dripping noise through the night in one of the rooms

I stayed in a mixed dorm and the room itself was completely fine. The staff was very friendly. The bed was very uncomfortable for me and the top bunk has no space to put anything so my stuff would fall in-between the wall which was annoying. The bathroom smelt horrible, extremely musty and the smell leaks into the room. I had to hold my breath going into the bathroom. So I personally wouldn’t stay here again. Fine for a night stay but other than that I would prefer less of a bad smell.
