Excellent location with private security. This hotel/hostel is the best one in Kigali! The staff are extremely warm and welcoming. The rooms and beds are super comfortable and big. The location is exceptional, right in front of the convention center. The cafe has an excellent variety of espresso styles coffee drinks, beer, smoothies, and cocktails! The food was phenomenal and was made by classically trained chefs. I can't wait to go back to Tugende!

We booked the double private room, it is simple but has all you need, room itself nice and comfortable, however the bathroom could use some work. Location is great, close to airport (short moto/taxi ride) and lots of restaurants and cafes. The cafe attached is really nice, good food and coffee.
