I would not recommend Urban Nomad to anyone. It was grungy, the kitchen & bathrooms were often filthy, & several things didn't work. The handbasin in one bathroom was blocked much of the time. The kitchen tap worked poorly; later, I found its handle on the bench and its screw stripped, so it was unusable. I went to reception & no-one had reported it; it was out of action through dinnertime. I needed the thin duvet doubled and my thickest clothes over the bed to sleep in the cold room.

Amazing location great and helpful staff too also comfy beds and quite rooms, despite loving it there some oddities with the stay. There’s no quiet spaces what so ever outside of rooms especially due to the common spaces having really loud music or films on constantly, meaning there’s no way to take calls or anything similar other than outside. Also despite breakfast being included nothing seemed to be prepared for it, we had to bring our own bread and plates from the kitchens ourself.

By far the most disgusting hostel I have stayed in in Australia. There was only 1 cooking pit in the kitchen, which didn’t even work. We had to go downstairs to cook in the staff kitchen and both kitchens were ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING!!!! The whole building was dirty and the bathrooms were full of piss and there was not 1 toilet with toilet paper. Your 5G barely works anywhere and guess what, the internet there is even worse. Would rather sleep on the street than go back to that place.
