Semilla Guesthouse – Small & Cozy Hostel

I really loved my stay at semilla guesthouse. It felt lik a home away from home. I was the only guest in the hostel due to low season but this made for a real great expierence because I got the chance to eat with Omar and his family. Omar helped a lot with activities and arranged them real quick trough the friends he has on the island. Regarsing the facilities, beds were good, aircon at night was good. But I must day the bathroom has seen his days. The hospitality made up for it though!

This is an amazing hostel! Omar is incredibly kind and helpful. He gave great recommendations of places to go around the island and helped me rent a bike while there. He’ll also help you book any tours you’d like. The rooms were comfortable, cozy, and clean. I ended up attending a tote bag making workshop that the hostel hosted which was an amazing experience and I now have a beautiful tote. Great vibe all around!

Best hostel in all Holbox! The host is incredible and very helpful. Small hostel with a very warm and welcoming atmosphere. I 100% recommand staying here. The kitchen is very useful as food tend to be expensive on the island. Also, the dorms only have 4 beds which make it more cozy and comfortable for sleep than usual big dorms. The location is also perfect 3 minutes away from the beach and two second from grocery store.
