Welcome to The Blue Hostel, your cozy home away from home in the heart of Battambang city!
We are a friendly, locally-run hostel offering clean, affordable, and comfortable accommodation for travelers from all over the world. Whether you’re a solo backpacker, a group of friends, or a couple looking for a quiet place to relax, we have the perfect room for you.

• 4-Bed Dormitory with AC – Ideal for small groups or solo travelers who enjoy socializing.
• 10-Bed Dormitory with AC – A great budget option with a fun, shared atmosphere.
(For Dormitory with AC, The AC will be allowed to turn on from 2pm till 11am)
• Private Rooms:
→ With 1 large bed (perfect for couples)
→ Or 2 large beds (great for families or friends)
All rooms are clean, spacious, and include access to hot & cold showers and private or shared bathrooms.

We are located in the city center – within walking distance (5 minutes) of supermarkets, pharmacies, local restaurants, and a peaceful riverside park.

No hot water in dorms, had to take a cold shower (only privates have hot water was what another guest told me) :( Very nice place otherwise; centrally located, the family running it is so sweet and kind. I booked the optional tour through them and had a good time (beware: I paid $6 to the hostel, but it costs ~$25 with entrance fees and tip)

First night staff so friendly and made cocktails. Food was good. Asked for towels as had none and had to pay a $2 refundable deposit for our towels, we gave a $5 and said we would get it back after not to worry about change. Had a 4 bed dorm it was very clean, although one bathroom between us all in the dorm room wasn’t ideal. On checkout we returned our towels and keys and asked for deposit back. Was told we didn’t pay a deposit at all and after pushing the issue only got half our money back.

What an incredible family run guesthouse! We felt very welcomed by everyone, from playing cards with the staff and kids to ask the help/tips from the hosts! They even sent a tuktuk for us when we were stranded after watching the sunset. There was free water refill, as well as AC and blackout curtains in the room. (I will say, blackout curtains are thick which made the top bunk quite hot even if the room was cold). Thank you for a lovely stay, we appreciate everything y'all did for us :)
