please note that a 4 on hostelworld is pretty phenomenally low because of the rating system. the whole place was pretty dirty, atmosphere wasn’t sociable and toilets/showers were very cramped. the main reason for this review was the final night where our room’s air conditioning, caked in black mold, broke down, making the hot and humid room stink of damp and the room smelling thick with mold. spend a bit more money on a nicer place, as this was probably the worst night i’ve spent in a hostel

Staff was a little annoyed for some reason, the AC in bedrooms are way too cold, we were freezing in the night, showers are really really small, toilets are for some reason always wet? The included breakfast was literally just white toast with either orange Marmelade, strawberry marmalade or peanut butter. Overall we were not happy but the location is good.

Hard to communicate with staff. Facilities were adequate at best, not that clean. Don't expect any breakfast. Location was not what I had hoped for - MRT is further away than you think and was hard to get to since all sidewalks were blocked by either road work or stalls/shops. Bunk beds are three-layered, so if you hope for a bottom bunk, your odds are worse than usual - AC was great and the lamp+electric outlet for the bunk worked fine. Very affordable, but you get what you pay for.
