Casa de Rosa is a tropical social hostel in the center of Puerto Escondido, made for travelers who want comfort, community and easy access to the local side of town.
We are close to Benito Juárez Market, where you can buy fresh local ingredients, fruit, juices and affordable meals, and near some of the best areas to swim and enjoy Puerto: Playa Manzanillo, Carrizalillo, Bacocho, Zicatela and Rinconada.
The house has female dorms, mixed dorms and private rooms, all with air conditioning. You will also find fast WiFi, hot showers, a guest kitchen, rooftop terrace, hammocks and common areas to work, rest or meet other travelers.
Casa de Rosa has a warm volunteer community that makes it easy to arrive alone and feel at home. Depending on the season, our volunteers organize simple social activities such as salsa classes, movie nights, volleyball trips to Zicatela and Sunday plans around town.
Nearby you can find local Puerto spots, cafés, seafood places, beaches, markets and scooter rental options to explore Puerto Escondido with more freedom.
Casa de Rosa is not a party hostel and not a luxury hotel. It is a safe, social and comfortable tropical house for travelers who want connection, local life and a real Puerto Escondido experience.
