Gate to the Wild is tucked away in the heart of the forest, not far from the stunning Ligurian coast.
Here, you can sleep in an Indian teepee or a hippie van, walk through the woods, volunteer in the garden, enjoy a shared dinner at a long table, exchange passions and experiences, or stargaze while listening to the sounds of the surrounding wildlife.
It’s a place to relax and unwind, but also a social hub where you can meet travelers and volunteers from all over the world.
If you're interested in a longer stay, you can work remotely from here or join one of our volunteering programs in exchange for food and accommodation.
Our property is accessible by car, bike or motorbike from Cicagna via a regular road, or from Rapallo via a road with a bumpy final 2 km. If you don’t have your own transportation, you can also reach us by hiking from Montallegro Monastery, which is accessible by bus or cable car — followed by a scenic one-hour walk through the forest with sea views.

Cancellation Policy: 1 day before arrival. In case of a late cancellation or No Show, you will be charged the first night of your stay.
