The elderly manager at this property was very unfriendly and mean to me. He shouted at me and used condescending language in conversations. He told another guest I was not the type of person he wanted at his property. The bathroom doesn’t flush properly and the metal bars on some of the beds are rickety and shaky. There’s no AC which makes the rooms very hot. The manager was confrontational, impertinent, and very aggressive in tone and posture.

The food is excellent, the atmosphere is cozy, it’s just so nice to chill there. The staff is really nice as well!

I recently spent four days at Gava Hostel in the heart of Kormangala, Bangalore, and I can wholeheartedly recommend it to fellow travelers. This is more than just a place to sleep; it’s a complete experience, largely due to its incredible in-house spot, Cafe de Verde. The hostel itself offers a comfortable and friendly environment. The common areas are great for meeting other travelers, and the facilities were clean and well-maintained throughout my 4-day stay.
