Welcome to Hikers Paradise Hostel, your cozy base in the heart of the High Tatras. We are in Tatranská Štrba, just 15 minutes by mountain train from Štrbské Pleso and easy to reach by public transport. It’s the perfect spot for hikers, adventurers, or anyone who loves the mountains.
Inside, you’ll find comfortable dorms with privacy curtains, sockets, and reading lights, a fully equipped kitchen, and a big common area with comfy sofas, our own bar, and a mini movie theater for relaxing evenings. We can give you tips for the best hikes and take you along on group adventure hikes so you won’t miss the most epic trails.
Outside, the mountains are waiting. Ski, snowboard, or snowshoe in winter, hike, climb, bike, or just enjoy the views in summer. You can also rent bikes or cars to explore further. Nearby, there are restaurants and bars with tasty Slovak food and local beer. Hikers Paradise Hostel is the perfect place to start your adventure, make new friends, and feel right at home!

The beds are very comfy! Great location for doing hikes. Some facilities a bit poor - like the shower didn’t drain and the power wasn’t working in my room for one night. But overall a great stay.

Great hostel. As others have said, it feels more like a house share rather than a hostel, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. Owner is lovely, though did end up waiting a hour for him to arrive and check me in. Accomodation is very clean and well looked after. Great location, as 5 mins walk from train station, with mainline trains running to Bratislava and Kosice, and the narrow gauge trains taking you into the High Tatras. Will definitely return at some point.

The hostel had a very weird atmosphere, I felt as though I was in an awkward house share. The cats would not leave me alone when I was trying to eat and kept trying to come into the room. Facilities were good, the showers hot etc, and everything is brand new, but this also means the hostel lacks charachter. I would not go back, stastay at The Ginger Monkey instead if you are solo
