Maca Hostel

Stayed in the all-female dorm in the slow season. Room was clean and matched pictures, but has no Wi-Fi. Management ignored my Hostelworld and Instagram messages. There is no reception or security on-site.The female dorm is off the gated property on the main street, open to anyone. To use the bathroom, you must cross a dark street and enter the gate. The pool has no lounge chairs and the beach is by the boats. It is a 15-min walk to town and has an on-site restaurant.

During week days it’s pretty quite, the hostel is pretty, but the only issue that I found it’s that if you’re staying at the shared dorms, the bathrooms and showers are a bit far. Besides that, it was a good stay with a great staff.

Nice project, definitely not a tradicional "party hostel", actually it's quiet on weekdays. I felt really safe due to the privacy of the property. Prime location very close to the docks. Beds are very comfortable, nice female only dorm. I loved their passion in dance music, this place has a really good taste, everyone who works there is either a dj or a musician, which makes it a perfect place to enjoy this topic.
