It was a very special place to spend my night, I felt welcomed in a Sri Lankan home. The owner, Mr. Jude, made me feel very safe and cooked dinner for me. Such a gentle heart. Truly a beautiful place, highly reccomend!

Do not stay here, especially if you’re a solo traveller. The grandpa owner was very uncomfortable, repeatedly pressured us into a tuk-tuk tour, and stood staring at us after we declined. At 2am, someone knocked on our door and attempted to enter, which was terrifying for 4 young women. The bathroom had ants, beds were uncomfortable/noisy, and the kitchen was dirty and smelly. At checkout, the owner wrongly claimed we were short 300, then suddenly “miscounted.” So relieved to leave.
