If you're visiting Vientiane,Apatuxay Vientiane Hostel is an absolute gem! The location is perfect—just a short walk to the iconic Patuxai Monument. Most of all, the staff are wonderfully welcoming and helpful. Highly recommended!

This hostel was full of drug addicts that hung out by the pool. By far the weirdest atmosphere of any place i have been. Also the bathrooms are all downstairs by the pool so even with my private room to use the bathroom it was a 4 min walk outside past the pool to the gross Locker room style bathrooms
