To stay in a mansion which belonged to a friend of Hermann Hesse and was described by the latter in his novel -- only this makes the place worth of visiting. We with my two sons lived in an apartment which is named Rhine and which includes as a part a part of the corner tower; I strongly recommend this marvelous apartment. Very nice site with possibilities for some sports, and an excellent location with a convenient access to Rhinefalls, as well as to the Altstadt Schaffhausen.
