An unique holiday resort, situated on the north-eastern shores of Lake Poso, in the lively church town Tentena, where Christianity dominates. The town is famous because for her caves where the dead were buried. A trip through the villages that are situated aside Lake Poso will make you enjoy the rural beauty of the landscape of Central-Sulawesi, and will make you gaze at breathtaking waterfalls and aggressive rapids.
Lake Poso is about 37 kilometres (23 miles) long and 13 kilometres (8 miles) at its widest point, and so it covers approximately 32,000 hectares (80,000 acres). Moreover, Lake Poso offers rainforest, coffee- and clove-plantations and voluptuous green ricefields. The clear water at the shores of the lake passes into a shade of deep-blue in the middle of the lake, where, according to tradition, a 30 metres long serpentine dragon is supposed to live.
The bungalows are provided with a bathroom (including a shower, an European toilet, a washbowl and cold water), a wardrobe, a coffee table and an overlook on Lake Poso. The remaining houses are provided with a shower, an European toilet and cold water. Each house has its own sitting room, where you can enjoy the afterglow of that days impressions.
