Bed was comfortable However the ensuite shower did smell from being enclosed and i didn't have a powerpoint or a light on my bed so it made working around the room a bit difficult as the available charger was being used for the fan in the room due to the heat wave

Smaller, hotter, cheaper hostel, if you're in Amsterdam for the weekend, on a tight budget, and want somewhere safe to stay with like minded friendly travelers, this is the place. Not all singing all dancing, but a safe, cheap bed, and amazing staff, extremely friendly, fantastic English, very helpful. After a horrific experience at a previous hostel, they took me in here, looked after me, let me check in early, couldn't have asked for a better saviour right when I needed it.
