THE TENT is a unique hostel in Munich and by far the most economical place to stay in the area. The ideal place to meet travelers from all over the world in a laid-back atmosphere. THE TENT is located in a green and calm park area, only 15 minutes by tram from the city center. We are accessible 24 hours by public transport and we have no curfew. Besides accommodation in a big tent, we have a beautiful camping-ground. We also offer a cafeteria with a beer garden, a guest kitchen, a piano bar with a chill-out area, a campfire every evening, a free guided tour of the city once a week and much more...

Really cold at night because the door to the courtyard must stay open, even if just a crack. Wish the kitchen was open 24/7 so that I can store food if arriving late or leaving early. Very friendly staff!

Such a great hostel. Of course you have to be okay with a little bit of rough and ready given the fact that it’s a huge tent, but the atmosphere is amazing and I met so many great people at this hostel. It’s a short walk from the tram station that takes you everywhere you need to go in the city and they have all sorts of instruments, games like ping pong and different places to hang out. Super fun and chill vibe the bonfire was also really nice in the evening. Highly recommend!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
