Since 2000, Hostel ELF has been the perfect base for young travelers looking for fun, adventure, nightlife, art, and history in the hundred-spired city of Prague. Here you’ll a vibrant atmosphere in a unique setting decorated with Instagram-worthy graffiti and modern art.
Our wide range of regular events and parties makes it easy to meet fellow backpackers and share unforgettable moments in our cozy lounge or on the blooming patio shaded by trees. Get advices from our friendliest staff, fire up a barbecue, enjoy your meal, sip your morning coffee or a famous Czech beer from our bar – and then head out to explore the magic of Prague.
LOCATION
The hostel is just a 20-minute walk from Prague’s Old Town, in the heart of Žižkov – a lively district full of bars, cafés, galleries, and restaurants serving Czech classics like goulash or pork knuckle. Known for having the highest density of bars in Europe, Žižkov offers the perfect night out and a true local experience, away from the tourist crowds. Nearby you’ll find Palác Akropolis for concerts, Storm Club for parties, the National Monument at Vítkov, and the iconic Žižkov TV Tower with stunning city views.

ROOMS and DORMS
Traveling solo, as a couple, or with friends? We’ve got option for everyone – from private rooms to spacious dorms, all decorated with original artworks. Every room is key-card accessible, dorms come with personal lockers, and fresh bed linen and sockets by your bed are standard. Need extra security? Safes are available at reception.
NOTE: Please note that guests aged 45 and over are not allowed to stay in our dorm rooms but you are more than welcome to stay in private rooms. Thank you for understanding.
