I was impressed by the staff and their friendliness, my complaint was about the cleanliness of the dorm. There was a lot of dust and dirty on the bed frames and the lockers were not clean. The bathrooms also did not appear to be that clean

the kindest staff ever! I absolutely felt like at home, The staff is so kind and always willing to help you. The whole place is really cute and clean. I had a lovely calm time at Minka. I work remote and the staff made a special place for me to work outside of noise. Thank you so much for your kindness.

Highly recommend Minka. Danilo the manager was very attentive - even gave me a lift to the airport to collect my partner to save us money on taxis!! There is a website with all the info you need for travelling in Quito/Ecuador with maps, tours and a food delivery menu! They clean the rooms during the day, so ask if you don’t want this (our door was left open unattended) but the building itself is pretty secure. Esperanza who works there was so lovely and helpful and made delicious breakfast too!
