Really good location and staff were nice but most dirty hostel I’ve ever stayed in. Toilets weren’t clean when we arrived and werent cleaned for duration until someone begged a guy who didn’t even work there. No soap in either bathroom entire stay. F***** all over toilet, bath mat filthy floor filthy. Kitchen also wasn’t good, one of the stoves didn’t work. 14 bed dorm right next to reception so is noisy 24/7

This has been one of my favorite hostels. It has an amazing kitchen and great cooking utensils, it had amazing people, amazing staff, beautiful boat tour for a very good and affordable price, it was very clean, the WiFi works! I definitely will be coming back here every time I visit Paraty.

Gustavo was my favorite Hostal host that I have ever had. I have been too many countries and have stayed in many hostels and Gustavo is definitely somebody that I connected with deeper than anybody else. The Hostal is extremely cool and has a relaxation area upstairs, a balcony, a good kitchen, and everybody that I met there was absolutely awesome if you are looking to stay at an affordable good Hostal In Paraty you should stay here. I also went on a really awesome boat tour with Gustavo!
