Naqalia Lodge

TO BE AVOIDED! It was the worst! Everything is old and not maintained inside the rooms. Parts of the window are missing or they don’t close. One night I had a huge spider in my room, the other night I found out a rat is living inside the bed. I had to ask to have fish or papaya or a coconut although they were right there… I had no warm water so I had to heat it and wash out of a bucket. Internet costs:) I wanted to join a friend at snorkeling (just to watch) and they asked for money. TERRIBLE!

The people are what make the stay at Naqalia lodge so special! You will feel part of the family by the end, I miss everyone already. There is plenty of fresh food, great snorkelling from the beach, lots of space to relax and incredible views from the summit walk. A proper Fiji experience in paradise!

Our time at Naqalia was truly incredible. The staff was fantastic. By the end of the stay they felt like family and it was very sad to leave. They invited us to experience their culture by taking us fishing, to church, singing and dancing with us after dinner each night, playing cards with us and more. We felt we experienced Fiji not just the touristy activities. All the activities they have are awesome and the staff truly do their best to make your stay amazing. The food is also great.
