Superb value for money, located not too far away from the park Marjan and a really nice view of the city, as well as the old town and a cosy part of the city. But above all, the amazing staff members - the crazy Croatian guy and Dutchie - made it perfect!👌👌

Would not recommend for female travellers. Staff and volunteers do not know how to close dorm door, leaving it wide open so anyone in the kitchen or going to the bathrooms could look into my bed and see me sleeping etc. Had a creepy guy watch me sleep and get undressed in front of me. Woman’s bathroom is directly in front of the kitchen, and if you are in the shower, anyone who opens the door would reveal you to the entire hostel. Men constantly going into the women’s bathroom

I had an amazing time staying at the Outlanders Tribe in Split. This is a very nice hostel for the price I paid for my stay. The hostel it self is very basic, something you would expect for an affordable hostel in Croatia. What made this one of my favourite hostels is the athmosphere. The staff and everyone I stayed with were very friendly. Felt very safe and comfortable during my stay as a solo female. Bonus points for very cute cats!
