It's an incredible place with very comfortable rooms, friendly staff, and a perfect location because you're close to town yet away from the noise, making it perfect for relaxing. I also liked that they have a party on Wednesday at a very nice bar in town with great music and delicious drinks. It's a place I always want to return to!

It seems like the hostel was a nice place a few years ago, but the state it is now can only be described as very neglected. The rooms were dirty, the bathrooms were very dirty as well. No social atmosphere at all, rude staff. Do yourself a favor and book somewhere else.

Very little atmosphere here. It seemed there were lots of volunteers that were clicky in their own group. We were above the kitchen so could hear everybody chatting until late which meant we didn’t get a good sleep here. Bed is comfortable. Cold shower then one hot shower. Not the hostels fault, but when the electricity went there wasn’t even any water to wash hands! And when it came back on the water needed a lot of time to heat back up. Was the whole of Ecuador, not just here.
