The beds are comfy but the room doesn't have lockers and it's one key for the whole room. Showers and toilets are good and always clean. Kitchen is very small for such a busy hostel. I arrived a day later because the weather in Calafate as awful and the buses were cancelled, I sent them an email explaining the situation, when I arrived I still had to pay for the day I missed but I couldn't go in the bed right away because they're was someone, they made double money and that was a cheap shop...

Maybe for Chalten the hostel is good but the only good box it checked was great location. Dorms didn't have lockers, no curtains or ladders for top bunks, and the hostel essentially had an open door policy for anyone to access. Lady at front desk wasn't the most friendly either. Only good thing was you could store bags there for free. Ended up just going to camp for much cheaper after 2 nights. Would only recommend if you have to stay in hostel & don't have camping stuff.
