There is no air conditioner in the 8-beds dorm, it is crazy to book this dorm in summer.

Not really sure how this place has such a high rating. There’s not even anyone available at 8am.The bar is mostly locals so no one to socialize with. The kitchen where you’re cooking and eating is the designated smoking area which is disgusting and you can smell it in your room.no security front door of hostel is unlocked 24/7 no locks to the rooms. Lockers so small.walls are so thin you can hear everything people are up till 4am.youre better off staying at a hotel.

An excellent hostel. Very friendly staff that can accommodate English speakers. The bar downstairs has a good mix of locals and foreigners so it's always an interesting night. Comfortable beds. It's right near Susukino, a great location to explore the city. I also worked as a helper here and it's one of the best two months I spent in Japan. I can't recommend this hostel enough.
