Nice hostel but can be very loud all night (until 6:00 AM). Not much of a social atmosphere other than the on site night club.

Enjoyed my stay, friendly staff who can organise your boat tours. Location is good though slightly out of the center and only access is via the beach - it rained during my stay which made the walk a little rough but otherwise liked my stay very much.

If you're going to stay at one of the more affordable places on ilha grande. This is the spot. Right on the water. With stunning views of the Ihla Grandes mountains. The breakfast here is superb. Great for carb loading before a day of hiking. The staff were friendly and helpful. Probably worth contacting them before hand about transport to and from Rio/Sao Paulo. As it's not that much more expensive to get direct shuttle + fast boat. This place is great for a lil Rio escape!!!!!
