Sad to be writing this, but we got lines of bed bug bites here and so had to leave before our last night. Fortunately we couldn’t find any of the actual bugs so hope that this is not an ongoing issue, despite a couple of previous reviews we found. The reception staff were lovely, and tried to help by offering us a new room, but unfortunately said that even though we showed them the bites that we were unlikely to be refunded.

The hostel was in a great location close to everything we wanted to see….our room was small but had what we needed…could do with a good clean round the window and door frames though…I know it’s difficult with such a period building but it woukd make a big diffence to the room even adding a new blind and better curtains! Otherwise fine and woukd go back next time we are there!

Shower was broken, sprayed water everywhere. There were also bugs in the room and it was quite loud at night.
