La Casa del Sole a Mergellina

This was the best place we have stayed at! The owners were so kind and helped us with booking taxis to the airport. They provided water and fresh baked goods. The room was spacious and clean and the bathroom was aswell. Very private and secure. It was only a 30 minute walk to some beaches, but if you are taking the ferry anywhere it was about an hour walk so be mindful of your plans! But it was an amazing stay!

When we first arrived, there was no one answering the buzzer and after about half an hour we found a whatsapp number to call. Luckily, the owner sent someone up ten minutes later and we were let in. That was the only hiccup, it was clean and the maid was quite friendly. Be careful coming in August, almost everything was closed around us because everyone is on holiday (good for them honestly). In a very traditional neighborhood, knowing a little bit of Italian is recommended to help get around.
