Locanda Ca' Le Vele

The room never really got cool enough at night with the AC turned up all the way. We were hot sleeping both nights of our stay until the outside early morning temp dropped naturally. We also put a “do not disturb” sign on our door handle so they wouldnt come in and clean. They came in anyway and turned the AC off. I was not happy. The location was a 20 min walk from all our group tour meeting points/water ferry’s. There was also a ton of bridges to haul luggage up/down along the way :/

Not worth 220 Euros for two nights. The images sure show a royal space but in actuality the rooms are very small and not well lit or ventilated. Moreover the website and this hotel have an agreement to take balance € ONLY in cash! Who pays 200 euros in cash these days?! These guys accomodated our request to atleast take a 40% split on card and 60% in cash, which they begrudgingly agreed on. It's a comfy stay but worth the 200+ Euro burn in your pocket AT ALL. I've had better stays at hostels!

This is not a hostel. Great location, clean rooms, friendly stuff, romantic touch Breakfast in room Expensive If you leave the room, you have to leave the key at reception, including the key for the safe. Wasn’t happy about that at first but it wasn’t a big problem
