Global Rio de Janeiro

This was the best place I stayed in all of Rio. Elisa makes you feel at home, when you are far away from home. The house is beautiful in the middle of the city and she is so helpful. Really helped me a lot on this long journey. I recommend staying here if you come to Rio. Other places dull in comparison. Thank you for making me feel so at home

Great location, close to everything - I mostly used Uber and got there and back easily. The host family were very friendly and caring and committed. It was interesting to hear about their journey and how they ended up running a place here. I got privacy when wanted but also company when needed. Great place to practice Portuguese skills, if wanted.

I should really start this post with a personal message and shout out to two Brazilians that quite literally stuck their kneck out on the line for me, and showed real compassion in a sticky situation. I am also sorry! =P Thank you Sid and Eliza for what you did for me and Paulina. Anyone reading this - please go and stay here. Honestly they are so welcoming and knowledgeable. Great people.
