Mr. Frills B&B is a modern, stylish Bed & Breakfast run by friendly young brothers Giampiero and Enrico (who between them speak Italian, English, French, Spanish and Portuguese).
The B&B, which was completely renovated and just opened in May 2007, is located on the 'piano nobile' of the building, an Italian term for the only floor of the apartment building which has balconies. Two of the four rooms have a balcony and face onto Piazza Vittorio; please note that smoking is only allowed on the balconies of these two rooms but not inside the B&B.
The other 2 rooms face onto a quiet courtyard. The four rooms, as well as the common room, were all designed to have a simple, contemporary feel, with new tile flooring, comfortable leather chairs, and sleek built-in bathrooms. All rooms have air-conditioning, satellite TV, and internet hook-up for guests who wish to bring their laptops. A light breakfast is served each morning in the common room, where there is also the owners' computer with high-speed internet which they will let guests use.
The area, known as Piazza Vittorio or Esquilino, just a quick 5-minute walk to Termini station, a 15-minute walk to the Colosseum.
