the hostel located near to the MRT station, just few step away from our door, in fact the door to our room located few shop away from the receptionist so if we need something we have to go downstairs and walk, but its OK, the biggest concern is the bathroom were to small, there are 2 bathrooms in each floor, the one is small, and the other is even smaller, its really not comfortable for us to takin shower because we can't move freely, and there is no exhaust fan, so its so stuffy.

It's a bit confusing when we ask the location of the balcony and mineral water. The staff only informed us on top of the building but you see... there are several buildings for 5footway inn chinatown 1. We tried to go up to the highest floor of the building we stayed in but no result. We tried asking again the location and the staff only said we need to go up. It would be better to have shown the guests the location directly of where to get the mineral water and balcony to avoid confusion.

The bedsheet is still dirty like not washed before, the room only has drawer, that's it. The bathroom is at the upstair so that we have to climb up for going in.

We thought the shared bathrooms were very dirty. The bins hadnt been emptied and there was rubbish left in the sinks. The rooms were very clean, but we hated the bathrooms and them woukd be the reason why we woud not book again.

One of the things I love most about this hostel is its super convenient location. You are really steps away from the Chinatown MRT Station and a few more steps from the taxi stand. The staff, especially Monet, are also nice and very accommodating to guests. It was so kind of Monet to have helped us carry our luggage up the stairs the first day and finally print our boarding pass the last day we were at the hostel. He's super cool! The only minus of the hostel is its bathroom and toilet.

The toilet and shower was not kept to its maximum cleanliness (it shoukd be regularly monitor since it is a share facilities). The breakfast is the same everyday should include fruits since singapore is rich with local fruits

The best spot of hostel in Chinatown because it's the nearest one to the mrt. You only need to take a few steps to get there. The atmosphere is quite nice since none of the room facing to the road so that it won't be noisy and you could sleep tight. The bed sheet and blanket are very clean (I really love the blanket, I feel so warm!) Unfortunately, 5footwayinn might want to pay more attention to the cleanliness of the toilets. Overall, Such a nice exp to stay here! :)

Best location. New, clean and comfortable hostel. Mini breakfast, but good enough to get you going. The air conditioning is a bonus and it works well. Almost too good! The staff are helpful and friendly.

Good Condition but perhaps for the bathroom the water was flooded outside the bathroom, maybe 5Footwayinn more concern about it.

The staff are all very polite, kind & helpful. It was much convenient that I can leave luggage in front desk before check-in & after check-out. The hostel is with wifi anywhere (both front desk & room). We are free to use public computer there, even for watching movie. The room falicity is simple ( only with bed, mirror & rubbish can), but it's much better with window & air-con. One more headsup, you have to bring your own toothbrush & face-washing ( clean-up & towel). Great experience!

The walkway around the hotel rooms are quite stuffy and portray an unclean feeling. Toilets are very small and the shower curtains (female toilets) are fairly dirty and seems broken. Minimal walkway in the bedrooms but the beds are super comfy (love the linens and comforter!). Friendly, helpful and pleasant staff at the reception. Love the breakfast lounge area but doesn't like it when it's too crowded during the morning.
