Other than the inescapable fact that it's a hostel, there's nothing not to like about this place.

This is a newly built hostel in the centre of Gion, a great place to be! The rooms are well equipped with bathrooms and computers inside. There are curtains hanging in front of the bunkbeds so you can have a bit of privacy and the common room is equipped with a kitchen and more computers. This is not a place to mingle with the staff, but it`s great to mingle with other travellers.

Nice and clean hostel with awesome beds and not very noisy. Like three computers with free internet and a nintendo wii available for use. Cheap snacks on top floor and free bread slice in the morning. Would definitely stay here again if I go to Kyoto.

The accomodation was for the prize more than adequate, the environment very clean and stuff kind. The welcome drink was a nice surprise. I felt a lack of oxygen during the night - I would strongly recommend some kind of air circulation. The overall impression was very good and I will recommend the hostel to my friends.

The lamps should be divided between one bed area and other bed area. I stayed at the 10 bed mixed room btw.

Even though me and my friend omly stayed one night we was amazed at the hostel we wish we could have stayed longer. The owner was very helpful from the minute we stepped into the hostel. He helped us plan our iternery for the day and sort out travel around the city. I couldnt have asked for more. The addition of curtains for the beds were great because at least it gave you privacy. The facilities that were on offer were great aswell. I would reccomend this hostel to anyone, I've no bad comments.

Great location and really safe area in the Gion district! The staff were amazing - helped me find last-minute Kabuki theater tickets, recommended great places to eat (Gen-zo), helped me find some off-the-beaten path locations.
