About

We are located in Miyagawa Town, the “Hana-machi” in Kyoto, which is near from Gion. Our place is surrounded by local businesses and restaurants, as well as local attractions.

All rooms are equipped with air conditioning, comfy mattress and clothes hanger. Bathroom facilities and toilets are shared. Hairdryer, slippers and free toiletries including shampoo and body soap are provided for guests.
The single bed is equipped with a socket, reading light, and clothes hangers.
Miyagawacho Guest House HANAKANZASHI offers non-smoking rooms, free WiFi and shared kitchen with dining area. Guests can do a simple cook within specific time period.

5. Cancellation policy:
(1) 14 days (or more) before Arrival Date: free.
　 (2) 7 days before Arrival Date: 50 % of the total amount.
　 (3) 3 days before or No Show: 100 % of the total amount.
6. Children are welcome.
7. No smoking.
8. Pets are not allowed.
9. City tax ¥200 per person is not included in room rate.
10. No curfew, no shoes inside property.
11. No noise after 22:00 (cannot cook or use washing machine after 22:00)
12. No food or drinks inside the dorm.
13. No party, no drugs, no alcohol abuse.


All reservations must be guaranteed by a valid credit card.
Payment before arrival by Credit card is required. The property will contact you after you book to provide instructions.
The property reserves the right to pre-authorize provided credit cards up to the full reservation amount at point of reservation.
Declined or invalid credit cards will result in cancellation of reservation without notice.

Stayed here for one night. Definitely a more social hostel for Japan standards. The property itself is located near a very touristy neighbourhood. So it's easier to go to those places. But the restaurants are also more touristy, which I didn't like. I think it's great if you wanna see the popular spots though.

Very great hostel to be at. Great hospitality people, locals, location and overall bang for buck value. They follow Japanese traditions so bringing in your own sandals and/or indoor shoes is a must.
