Honestly the best hostel I've stayed in after a year traveling. Loads of storage in rooms & secure locker room. Really sociable; meet some ace people & the staff are lovely. Generally really well organised with plenty of space & character. Good free WiFi, rare for NZ. Lots of little things (like 2 power sockets per bed & reading lights) show that they are travellers & now how to make travellers happy. Make sure you have a 'Brettburget' they are better than the famous fergburger!

We stayed in a private room with ensuite for 4 nights and absolutely loved it, very modern and couldn't have asked for anything better. Thankyou for an amazing stay.

Hands down the best hostel I've ever been to. The host is friendly and enthusiastic in his endeavours to make our visit a fulfilling one and the other counter staff are also ready with recommendations on activities to do in QT. There is free internet access (a rarity in NZ), free phonecalls overseas, a huge kitchen with everything you could possibly need, superb cleanliness and facilities, and a fantastic location in the heart of town (and yet still quiet enough to sleep like a log at night).

This hostel is awesome! I stayed here for 2 weeks & didn't want to leave!! The staff are awesome, the location is perfect & the $8 roast dinner on a Sunday evening is amazing! Oh & the Burgers on Burger night (Wednesdays) are better than Fergs, seriously! I love this place & would highly recommend it to anyone, it is clean, fun, social & has every facility you could ask for, even free wireless Internet! The showers are amazing too! Stay here, you will not be disappointed!

The owner of this hostel strives to constantly improve this hostel. And it shows. This is perhaps one of the best hostels I\'ve ever stayed in: free Wi-Fi, free overseas long distance calls (really), hotel-quality bathrooms and a living room worthy of MTV\'s \"The Real World.\" I really loved this hostel.

The only problem was that the occupants in our room were not told we were coming that night. (We booked weeks in advance) So they came back late that night with some girls and were very loud.

Owner Comment (Show)
We're very pleased to hear you enjoyed your stay. We're a little confused about your hotwater feedback. We have spent a lot of $ to install 3 gas heaters as well as the standard water storage heating tank to ensure that the hotwater is endless and a circular waterpipe system to ensure great water pressure from every tap. We will look into this to see if a problem has sprung up in your particular room.

Perfect location, great staff and super clean! The bathrooms were nicer then mine at home. Loved the huge kitchen and living room area. Makes you feel at home. Plus the "family" dinner was fun and great icebreaker to meet fellow travellers.

Serious can't stress enough how fantastic this hostel is! Truly a home away from home. The facilities + things on offer are beyond great. Brett + his entire staff team are the most welcoming + helpful people always putting 150% into what they do. Every room is awesome but the bedrooms + bathrooms in particular are fantastic with the kitchen being out of this world! The entire place is tremendously clean. Free internet + tons more. I wouldn't recommend staying anywhere else in Queenstown.
