Summary of traveller reviews

LyLo Queenstown offers a fantastic location in the heart of the city, perfect for exploring. Guests appreciate the privacy and comfort of the pod-style beds. The staff are frequently praised for their friendliness and helpfulness. Some recent feedback notes that the kitchen area can be small and crowded, and occasionally cleanliness could be improved in shared spaces.

Great social hostel in the heart of Queenstown. Kitchen and social area are quite small for the size of the hostel so can be difficult to find space, especially for food storage as this was quite limited. Great social atmosphere with events every night, but the rooftop bar wasn't open every night from 2-9pm as advertised which was a shame, though I did stay during a quiet period. They also shut the kitchen and lounge at 11pm every night which sucks for night owls

It's a great location for a fair enough price in Queenstown, but lacks some thought in layout and security. I was in a 6 bed female dorm, it would have been good, but we had no window and no air-conditioning. This lead to, even in winter, our room getting unbearably hot during the night with 6 people all sleeping and breathing in a room without ventilation. In each pod their is a small fan that does absolutely nothing other than blast lint and dust onto you.
