I have already written to the hostel and told them of my very pleasant stay with them.

A little expensive but the location was great. Very close to the airport and there are a few shops close by to get dinner and things. Place was clean if a little dated. Showers were great.

Lovely hostel, walls were a little thin in my room. Got a good nights sleep considering it was a hostel . Staff were friendly and were very prompt with the airport pick ups and drop offs.

This suited our purposes perfectly. We had a late flight into Auckland and just wanted somewhere to stay for one night. It's basic but spotlessly clean. Nice lounge area. Fantastic pick up service from the airport and guidance with transport into city which was conveniently right outside. Only fault were the rather thin (could hear woman coughing next door) but we were very happy with our stay overall.

a good small family orientated business, has free tv and a computer (fees needed for internet), quite clean and have a small swiming pool at the back, sometimes you may get into the same room with a unpleasant room mate, but they are generally all good.

The managers were thoughtful, accommodating and easily accessible. The hostel was very clean. The only negative was the very expensive internet access.

Peaceful and very comfortable, feels like your at home. If you dont mind being outside the city centre (only 20mins away) and are looking for a good nights sleep then the Sky Way Lodge is a great place to stay. Owners are extremely caring and helpful and can pick you up from airport. Having felt ill with a cold I felt fully recouperated on leaving the lodge. Would recommened to everyone looking for an inexpensive but perfectly comfortale stay in Auckland. Loved our stay there!

Scott was very friendly and we appreciated the courtesy transport to and from the airport. We appreciated the fact that their rates had not been hiked up for the RWC final weekend when other motel operators had done so.

Very good location as an airport hostel (10 minutes' drive). The owner will pick up and drop you back. Staff are friendly and you can order food in or go across the road I didn't stay long enough to use all the facilities. I used it as a place to sleep between flights and it was perfect.

I appreciated the flexibility that the staff provided when i arrived to the hostel so that i would feel comfortble in the room that i stayed in. I had been booked into the Dorm room, and as a female, i would have been popped in with 3 guys, or i was given the option of a twin share with one guy. There was limited space in the small Dorm room, so i chose the Twin.

all i wanted was a bed close to the airport and ride to and from the airport, and that's what i got! don't stay here if you're looking to see auckland since it's ages away from anything, but if all you need is to be close to the airport then it's perfect. facilities are pretty good- big kitchen and lounge, decent bathrooms, cramped bedrooms.

Very nice people who tried to accomodate everyone at a very busy time with the Rugby WC happening. Comfortable beds and everything lovely and clean. Very efficient and reasonable shuttle service to the airport as well. Thanks for a good last night in NZ.

Good location by the airport, if a little out of the way of the city centre. Great staff, lovely little hostel, very homely feel.
