It does exactly what it is intended to do. A great place to stay either before you fly out of Auckland or (as we did) spend the night before picking up our campervan the next day. We were picked up from the airport at midnight by the friendly owner. The lodge is about 10mins away. The rooms have a real homely feel. There's very big communal room and kitchen along with adequate toilet and shower facilites. Plenty of tourist info available in the lobby. Perfect place to start your trip around NZ!

Nice budget option if you are only using it as an over nighter for the airport. Very cheap and staff are friendly and helpful. However, you get what you pay for in terms of facilities

I have stayed at this hostel a couple of times due to its location at the airport. I feel like it's slightly over priced as a hostel especially as you have to pay extra for a shuttle and also wifi. The staff are really helpful and the facilities are clean. Nice and relaxed, I would recommend this hostel.

I saw the picture on the official web site and I expected less. The rooms are nicer than they look like. The building is also nice with a very well equipped kitchen, large living room and even a pool. Showers are ok but few. Location is perfect: 10 min from the airport and 5 min from rental vehicles depot area. Transfer to and from the airport is 5$.

Scott was very personable and had a warm friendly welcoming personality. The shuttle was punctual and efficiant. Enjoyed the spa and pool, and the TV room was spacious and comfortable. Extremely good vibe about the whole place . Friendly and helpful staff. Free coffee and tea also anice bonus. Beds were comfortable and the location of the facility was close to bar and restaurants.

Stayed here for one night, enjoyed it very much. Airport pick-up service was very good, double room was clean and bed very comfy. Lounge/living room was spacious and many places to sit and relax. Kitchen also had all facilities you need. Because the hostel only has 10 rooms it is very calm and relaxing, not the busy atmosphere of a hostel in the middle of the city.

Returned to the hostel after my stay in New Zealand. Was picked up and returned back to the airport again. Very relaxing place to be before my outward flight.
