Excellent location, friendly staff and fun staying on a boat, close to everything.

hotelboat was a great first time experience. boat was spotless,very clean throughout. the breakfast was very good and the couple running the boat were very friendly and very helpful. all in all it contributed greatly to my stay and made my first visit to amsterdam a memorable one. will stay there on my next trip if possible.

Incredibly helpful staff, super nice, and very very amenable to all sorts of requests! a bit small tho- because its a boat. Great full breakfast! Safe too!

It was refreshing to stay on a boat, especially when the mattress and pillow were better than some of the on-land hostels I stayed before. The boat was owned by a friendly couple, with decent breakfast. You may want to consider the good 20 min walk from the Centraal train station, and its wifi-less facility being at a pier.

I loved my stay at the Amsterdam Hotelboat! While it was a little pricer than some other hostels, it is a very fun experience to have and well worth the extra money. The boat is decorated very nicely, with an adorable dining room. Our room was very small, just a bunk bed, sink, and small closet but linens were included including towels. We liked to sit outside the boat and have a beer and enjoy the views of the bay. I highly recommend staying here!

Very nice and clean. The breakfast was good and the owners were incredibly nice. The walls are very thin, so bring some ear plugs if you're a light sleeper want a good night's sleep.

Everything was clean, the owners were very nice and helpful. It is a quaint little ship with a laid back atmosphere, loved it!

Overall, a fabulous experience! The personalities and helpfulness of the owners, personal touches, cultural experience, convenience of location, pleasantness of the boat, delicious breakfast, and cleanliness all combined to make it a perfect stay in Amsterdam. Yes, it is a little noisy since the rooms are close together, and it's a hotelboat in Amsterdam. But it's understandable, and we were still able to sleep!

This hostel was great. Staying on a boat is a neat experience, and it was very clean. The staff were very cordial as well.

My wife and I were a little worried about staying on the hotel boat thinking it was more suited to younger backpacker people, but when we arrived we were soon pleased with our choice. The boat is kept in immaculate condition by the owners and is a real credit to them, the toilet and showers are the cleanest I have seen, the cabins are what you would normally see on a boat and are very comfortable. The staff are very friendly, you are mad welcome from the minute you walk through the door.

We had a great weekend on the Hotelboat Amsterdam. And the staff were so friendly and gave us really good advices, where we should go. Thank you so much for having a really amazing Amsterdam Weekend.

The room are small because it is a boat but otherwise a friendly, clean place to put your head for the night.

Everything was all right. It was calm and quiet, I did sleep like like a dog! The breakfast was ok. Thanks!
