Beautiful hostel to stay at with great staff who were helpful and friendly. Loved the fact that there's happy hour, swim up bar and a nice common area.

The staff at the front desk were not very helpful or friendly. Tyler was very helpful though, but we didn't see him until long after we had checked in.

This hostel is more like a hotel. I wouldn't call it a hostel at all. Also we didn't have hot water for a couple of days and it can get quite cold up there so you do need it! Make sure you shop around for deals on tours as the 'hostel' prices are overpriced.

Reception staff were not welcoming. There was no hot water for showers and shower only dribbled anyway. We had paid quite a lot for a private rom and it was very noisy with our door shaking and room trembling when people moved upstairs. One of the beds was incredibly uncomfortable with a very thin mattress. Initial impression of room and surroundings was good but I wouldn't stay here again.

Advertises hot water but it runs on a solar panel so if there is no sunshine there is no hot water. It just so happened to be cloudy everyday we were in the RAINFOREST, so it sucked! I hate cold showers!!!

Had an amazing time during our stay here. The staff was beyond helpful and extremely friendly. Location was right in the middle of town so accessing restaurants and stores was a breeze. The atmosphere was great, grounds are well maintained and set up with hammocks, a swimming pool and a swim up bar. Couldn't have asked for more during our stay.

This hostel is not very authentic, but it has great common areas, a very helpful staff, and great food cooked by Maria! It was a bit too American for me, but it wasn't a huge turn off. There was no hot water and the rooms were cramped, but the beds were decent. The place is a little douchey, but it's not a bad place to stay at all, great resources and nice people.

If you're lucky you get a room on the street side. Otherwise you will enjoy loud music from the hotel bar all day long.

For what this place actually is... It's over price... for the amount of money they make they should make more improvements to the place to make it look better...

Location right around the corner from the bus station and on the main street is excellent and very convenient. The grounds with a center courtyard, hammocks, pool, etc., is very nice and allows for good interaction with other guests. Rooms were clean enough. I'd reserved a female-only dorm but they put a guy in there anyways by mistake and then were booked up for the night so couldn't help me. Next night they were able to move me though, and were helpful.

Overall we loved our stay there. The ONLY thing we'd change is how loud the music was...all the time. I would turn it down and allow for easier chatting among guests. Also, we'd like to send a shout out to our guide Alonzo. He was amazing; so knowledgeable about the area. His 13 hour 4 location tour was one of the best on our trip.

We stayed in one of the private rooms for two nights. The room was ok, and the backyard was nice. The music in the bar was too loud and made it difficult to talk. We booked a canopy tour in the reception which we were very happy with. The location was also great, with everything just around the corner. Cheap meals available at the bar. Good breakfast buffet. Free welcome drink.
