Overall, a decent hostel with good facilities, including a nice-sized kitchen, with the smartest dish rack I've seen, clean bathrooms, and comfortable blankets in the dorms. However, the tours this hostel offered seemed very expensive. We managed to find cheaper alternatives elsewhere. Despite the number of people staying here, it never felt like a social hostel. I don't think this was helped by the lack of events put on by the hostel, like no happy hours or themed nights.

I appreciated the $15 price point and how close the hostel is to everything in La Fortuna. However, I want to leave an honest review about the trailer accommodation. The trailer sits outside the main building and lacks cover over the path to the bathrooms, which is tough when it rains. The AC is turned on by the staff after 8:30 PM (set to 24Β°C), making the trailer unusable during hot afternoons. Additionally, street noise, a barking dog outside, and weak Wi-Fi made it hard to rest well.

I stayed for 3 nights and really enjoyed it. Beds were surprisingly comfy for a hostel and I slept very well. The hostel was social and it was really easy to meet others. Brie (staff) organised some fun evening activities including a trip to the Hot Springs. Lots of activities avalible to book through the hostel, pricey but that seems normal for Costa Rica. Staff gave good advice on which trips were best. The breakfast was good. Rice, beans, egg fruit etc. Free coffee 7-10am was nice.
