Great facilities, friendly and super helpful staff. The included activities were really good - the free night walk especially was awesome! The kitchen was well equipped and the common areas were really nice and spacious. The co-working space with air con was excellent. As others have said, be aware that the tents/wooden cabins are really quite small for two people with bags.

Super nice hostel in La Fortuna - spacious rooms, good social feel and areas, and lovely staff. Only downside is that the kitchen is small and very busy for the amount of guests. The highlight for us is how kind the staff were - we had to adjust our arrival date by two days due to a medical emergency and despite not having a flexible reservation they allowed this free of charge. Incredibly kind!

I love all the structure of Viajero’s hostal. Beds very comfortable, AC, curtain. Some of the staff are friendly, good pool, many bathrooms, etc. BUT.. if you think is gonna be quiet it is not: they have the policy of the silence hours but some travelers think they are on their home so they keep talking very loud with no respect for the others trying to rest. The night guard should be making people following the rules but unfortunate he doesn’t. Kitchen very dirty especially dinner time.
