This place was very much so your typical hostel, smelt sort of funny and was very cheap. But for a couple of nights on a budget it's worth it as the location is great and there's free wifi.

I found the staff and the guests to be very nice.^^ The staff were very kind to me! I felt so welcomed and looked after. Staying there really helped to make my stay in Tokyo very memorable!^^

The staff were very helpful and accommodating. Great location. Asakusa is a really nice area and the subway is just a five minute walk, so travelling around Tokyo is very easy. It's a good place to meet people if you are a lone traveller as the bar area is pretty full in the evening. The walls are very thin so you can hear every little noise in the next room. Our private twin room was VERY small with just 1 bunk bed and little to no room for anything else.

Missing internet, only ONE person could be online, on first floor. når 2nd floor NO one could use internet OR online, signal was blocked. missing cleaning in kitchen and bathrooms. But really nice duvets, because it was cold at night, draft from windows.

There isn't much to smile about here. We arrived to quite the lackluster welcome only to be advised we were staying at a building a few blocks away. Upon entering you are met only by a ridiculous amount of shoes in the doorway that was barely lit. The room we stayed in was just big enough to fit an uncomfortable double bed but did have a large cupboard. Sleeping and having a shower was made difficult by the 10-15 residents who seemed to be living in the room next to the room we stayed in.

The staff was nice and helpful. The young woman working at the desk helped us make reservations. Despite this the accommodations are sparse. It doesn't have any character or cleanliness. Our bunk bed was about to collapse and we opted to put one of the mattresses on the floor. Internet and wifi are available and there is a bar. If you are just looking for a place to sleep it's okay and cheap, but there are better options available elsewhere

Before booking a hostel in Japan, especially in Tokyo keep in mind that everything is more expensive and space is limited. Overall I'd say this is a good hostel to stay at if you don't want to spend a lot of money and just want somewhere to sleep. Good points: Located close to the Sky Tree, clean . Also got a free drink coupon for the bar. The Staff were excellent, very helpful! Downside: Wifi only works in the lobby, and only 2 showers.

The hostel has no real feeling about it. Guests are told they must be quiet after 9pm, which is especially early. The kitchen was very limited and the bathrooms are in very awkward places i.e, shower right by the kitchen. There are also not enough bathrooms for the number of guests. There is a bar downstairs though for the 4 nights I was there there was usually nobody there. On the plus side the location is close to 2 subway stations.

It's not Super nice but it's average. I stayed different building where located a few minutes away from a main building. It's clean enough. Great location as well.

Place was very average. Showers were disgusting at best and rooms barely had enough room for the beds. For the price you can find something way better

There was mould and an awfully strange smell in the place But they are under going renovations at the present moment so perhaps that will make it nice place to stay

Bring you own things. The staff was friendly. The people especially are very nice inside. This hostel is great if you want to look around Asakusa area.

Good sized double room, with a wardrobe and a window. We didn't really meet anyone else there, but the location was good (near the train station and restaurants) and the bathrooms were very clean. There was only one shower in the building, and it wasn't the prettiest room, but hey, it worked. There was also a good lounge/ kitchen area. All in all a sound little hostel!

Facilities were a bit run down but functional. I especially enjoyed chatting with locals and travelers at the bar, although felt the closing time was a bit early. My only real complaint would be that the showers were small and awkwardly situated (one inside the kitchen and the other a floor below the sinks).
