Friendly staff, toilets could have been cleaner, the excess water made the bathroom a bit suspect, beds not very soft but very clean bedrooms, good lockers and good advice as to where to eat well and cheaply was nuch appreciated.

I stayed at Asok Montri only for one night, but it is a cosy hostel with everything you need. The biggest advantage is the location, it is in the middle of Sukhumvit area and you can walk in 5 minutes to MRT- (underground) or BTS-station (skytrain). Even the airport link (train to BKK airport) is only one MRT station away.

The location is fantastic. The beds are alright, it is a hostel. The bathrooms are a deathtrap, though you would fall onto a relatively clean floor. The bathrooms all have broken seats, and are on a step, this is in addition to the usual shower in the bathroom, so everything is constantly wet, bring flip-flops

The staff was incredibly helpful and the common area was nice but the bathrooms needed to be fixed. Most of the toilet seats were broken off and there wasn't anywhere to place dry clothes etc. while taking a shower.

NOT a hostel Reception area has 2 couches, but owner & friends always there watching TV. Owner & friends hangout & sleep in room 101. Sign on door of 1st floor toilet says "out of service", but owner & friends use it all day. Toilets on 3rd and 4th floors have "out of sevice" on the urinals & all toilets seats are either missing 1 or 2 screws, so seat covers are loose or not connected. Person who checked me out (took my room key) at 5:30am, did not know which bus to take to Don Muang Airport

I would definitely recommend this hostel, I stayed in one of the dorms, the room was really clean with both fan and airconditioning, the wifi was fast and the stuff very helpful! Also the location is perfect, one minute walk from both subway and skytrain and that made my stay in Bangkok a lot more easy! They also have a nice couch with television if you just want to relax after a day walking in the city.

Great place - close to BTS and MRT stations the airport; clean and open feel; secure with no curfew. Plenty of shared bathrooms, free drinking water and breakfast and comfortable kitchen and lounge area. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Vibe is relaxed and open - met a bunch of interesting people there. Downsides: a little pricey (didn't stop me from going twice more though), quite far from a lot of the sights and beds are a little on the hard side.

After visiting Bangkok many times and getting sick of staying on Khao San Road I decided to stay near Sukhumvit. This place was a nice friendly hostel, with some very helpful staff to always help you. I will definitely come back here again.
