Brilliant hostel. Although they don't allow noise late, they've got a TV near the reception and they've got a wonderful affordable cafe with delicious potato bread. One of the nicest hotels I've stayed at in terms of cleanliness. Quite modern for a hostel. Not the most fun / lively hostel, but they make that quite clear in the info on here. This is the second time we have stayed in this hostel and again we were very pleased with our stay. Our only comment is that there were no bowls available in the mornings for self catering breakfast, and it appears that the cafe staff use a lot of the self catering plates/cutlery, which is really a disadvantage for those who are looking at self catering. Other then that we enjoyed our stay and would stay again next time we are in Belfast.This is the second time we have stayed in this hostel and again we were very pleased with our stay. Our room is private room single bed, but the bed is too high. we scared of falling, so we move everything to the floor and slept. There is our good weekend in Belfast Thank you. The Causeway Cafe which opens for beakfast is excellent. The location is good, very convenient but the street itself is a bit smelly and dirty. The accomodation is great, clean and comfortable. I had a wonderful experience at Belfast International Youth Hostel. Staff were friendly and helpful, dorms were clean and public spaces were appreciated. Enjoy the selection offered by the cafe even if I didn't use it. One thing I would have liked to have seen would be anti-bacterial soap in the dorm bathrooms, not just in the main floor toilet, particularly with the winter season coming.I had a wonderful experience at Belfast International Youth Hostel.
