Het Belfast International Youth Hostel heeft een centrale locatie, die door velen wordt geprezen. Het personeel wordt vaak omschreven als vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Recente beoordelingen wijzen echter op problemen met de netheid, met name in badkamers en keukens, en sommige kamers voelen verouderd of luidruchtig aan.

Very disappointing stay. The photos are misleading and do not reflect reality. The hostel is outdated, worn down, and poorly maintained. Toilets and showers were dirty, with mould, damaged (open) ceilings, and poor hygiene. Our private room had an old bunk bed with peeling paint, a dirty carpet, and a barely working tap. Common areas were underwhelming. Staff were polite but unwelcoming, offering little information or hospitality. Would not recommend.

Geen fijne privé kamer. Erg krakkemikkig bed, maakt extreem veel geluid. Douche viel ook tegen en de wc spoelde de helft van de tijd niet goed door. Ook gebrek aan basisvoorzieningen zoals een simpel tafeltje. De douche was niet echt fijn, de badkamer bevatte schimmel en viezige randen. Personeel was oké, beveiliger was een beetje vreemd.
