The member of staff that welcomed me was very accommodating, yet the older man who was working the late shift on the desk was extremely obnoxious, spoke poorly and in a condescending way to customers and made out that by simply opening a door for one customer he was going above and beyond his job description. I have stayed in hostels in almost 40 countries and he was by far the worst employee I have come across in this setting.

Great Location. Close to restaurants, supermarkets and just across the road from a great tour bus company.

Good location, walking distance to the bus/train station, near food outlets etc. Perfectly clean and comfortable but now much happening in the hostel itself, so if you're looking for a buzz better to head out and experience Belfast properly! Great trips and other activities though. Would surely recommend it! Have stayed there about 6 times in the past 3 years! I love Belfast, clearly!

Overall, I had a good stay. I would have very much appreciated internet access throughout the hostel. As a female traveling alone, I wanted to use the internet, but didn't always feel comfortable using it in the lobby, surrounded by strangers from other groups.

I have stayed in hundreds of backpackers all around the world and this is by far the worst i have ever stayed in. Staff were not helpful and very rude. Mattresses like sleeping on rocks and the facilities were poor at best. It might be cheap, but its not worth saving 5-10 pound more per night than other hostels.

I thought the hostel was exceptionally dirty and the window of the room didn't close well. Also, we had requested a twin room and we found out only at the hostel that the twin room has a bunkbed and not a twin bed, as the name indicates.

Your front desk man was so friendly and helpful. I really appreciated that he helped but all 5 of us in a room together, even though we had booked a single and a quad. The distance to downtown was short, and the cab ride to the main attractions was very reasonable.

You should state that the wifi does not work in the rooms, in fact, it would not even work in the lobby.

No wifi available, not even in the reception area, hostel lacks character and identity. Location is good though, near the Golden Mile (night out) district. Staff during daytime is fine, but after 6:30PM the guy is not helpful at all. Causeway cafe next door is far more expensive than The Bridge House (JD Wetherspoon pub) at Dublin Street nearby.

No negative impressions. Although I stayed in a six bed male dorm which was the cheapest possible accommodation, the room was comfortable and clean. I can thoroughly recommend the Causeway Cafe for its delicious breakfasts. The self-catering kitchen was small, but well equipped and again very clean.

It's the best hostel I've been lately. Clean, organized and very nice staff. I thank the guy who was in the reception and was very helpful when I was leaving last Thurs morning. He suggested me to try Irn Bru in Scotland: Very Good!!!

My girlfriend and me booked a twin ensuite room in this hostel. The room was at the corner to the lift and the stairway enterance and the walls were very thin. However, the rooms are not clean and do not look as good as in the advertised pictures, plus a defetive boiler made unbearable noises so that we had to change the room on request. At night the hostel guests party and scream without caring about other guests. All in all we did not sleep much, worst hostel experience ever + not worth the € .

Quite close to Europa bus centre. Ordinary hostel, but worth the low charges as a place to rest for the night, close to attractions. Very friendly staff.

We enjoyed our stay there a great deal. For our purposes, the fact that it was located near Queens University was a real plus
