The hostel has been renovated;it's very pleasant, well located near the City centre and University;near the Bus station. Very good kitchen facilities and a good selection of food shops A choice of breakfasts at decent prices.Internet, laundry, car park, lounge. Pubs just across the street..Coach trips from the hostel For a very enjoyable stay, book at this modern hostel

I would definitely recommend this hostel and stay there again. The value for cost is good, the beds in our 6-bed female dorm were clean, not the most comfortable, but fine for a hostel, and the keycard entry was secure. The gem is really the central location and a great breakfast cafe in the hostel, plus 20 min of free wifi per day on an iPhone/Blackberry (or similar) and they have computers with paid internet access also. Only complaint: the shower room didn't have shelf to keep clothes dry.

this hostel is BETTER than the linen house. the floor was dirty in my room but the beds were nice and clean. for somewhere like belfast where there don't seem to be a lot of options i don't think you would get better than this close to the city centre.

Everything good except the kitchen looks not clean. It's a very big hostel though. You might meet a lot of people there.

Noisy. Too expensive for a very simple hostel. Very cold (heating was on too late & off too soon)

Belfast International Youth Hostel is probably one of the best hostels I've ever stayed in. It's location is also superb, within walking distance of all the major attractions.

The only thing that I could find that could use a bit of work was the cleanliness of the rooms. I had other peoples hair on my floor and my bag was covered with dirt from under the bed!

Thought that the hostel was brilliant, staff were very friendly and it was very clean. Only stayed here for one night as it was only used for accomodation as we were going to a concert. The only downside of this hostel would be the location as it is situated right to the entrance of Sandy Row. We personally didnt have any trouble but sometimes it can be a troublesome area.
