Bilbao Akelarre Hostel is the first private youth hostel in Bilbao, created just for you in 2009. We offer a total of 38 beds in a hostel small and cosy enough to feel like home. We are very close to Deusto and Basque Country Universities in the District of Deusto.

We're just 20 minutes' walk from the Guggenheim, and 10 minutes from the Abandoibarra area of Bilbao, where you can find the Euskalduna Palace, Iberdrola's tower, Calatrava's bridge, Moneo's library, and even San Mamés, Bilbao's football cathedral!

Our hostel is situated in an area with a great street life, bars, restaurants, supermarkets… let us show you around!
